First Resource represents its clients only on an exclusive basis. The success of each transaction depends heavily on our ability to effectively manage the entire process and this is only possible when we, together with our client, control the transaction.
For mergers and acquisition services, First Resource is compensated by a success fee which is payable upon the closing of each transaction. We believe in getting paid for results rather than effort. Upon being retained, First Resource charges a retainer fee which varies depending on the size and scope of the assignment. Our incentive is to conclude assignments on behalf of the clients we serve successfully. Our future success is tied to our client's satisfaction.
Our compensation schedule is in line with industry standards, and each transaction is negotiated on an individual basis. We determine all fee structures prior to initiating any task. We are pleased to quote firm fees for specific projects, hourly fees for consulting, and propose agreements for longer-term endeavors. Simple agreements describing the responsibilities of both parties are our norm.
